Our Word. Our Year. Our Fresh Start.

Last week I talked about how it was exactly one year from the day I found Brian's cancer.

The very next day Collin sent me a book called The Pivot Year.

If you have been part of this community for any amount of time you know that pivot has always been our word. In business. In life. In startups. The ability to pivot when things do not go as planned is not just a strategy. It is a survival skill. It is what separates the practices that last from the ones that do not.

And this past year has been the biggest pivot of my life.

Collin gave it to me the day after the hardest anniversary of my life.

And speaking of things worth celebrating. My son won the state baseball all-stars tournament this week. 🏆

I have been a bleacher mom in the heat cheering my heart out and I would not trade a single second of it. This is what we work so hard for. These are the moments that remind you why the pivot was always worth it.
