I wish my house looked like this

Hey friends,

Every time I walk into my second Smile & Co. office, I still get a little emotional. This build took two years, more money than we budgeted for in places we never expected, and a lot of trial and error. But standing in that space now? I'm grateful every single time. I've even joked that I wish my own house looked like this.

In this episode, Collin and I go back to the very beginning of this build, before the drywall, before the equipment, before any of it looked like an office. I talk about drawing my own floor plan on taped-together pieces of printer paper (very high-tech, I know), why I decided to bring on an architect for this location when I hadn't for my first one, and the surprises that came with buying an existing building instead of building from scratch, including a Wi-Fi router that, to this day, lives in the office next door.
