A Heart Full of Gratitude This Thanksgiving
Gratitude Is the Secret to Growth
This Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey of The Retreat, The Making Of Facebook group, and the amazing community we’ve built together. Gratitude isn’t just a warm feeling—it’s a driving force behind growth, connection, and transformation.
As Tony Robbins says, “Gratitude is the antidote to the two things that stop us in life: fear and anger.” That truth has deeply resonated with me ever since I attended one of his life-changing courses (and prepare to go in person for the first time next month!). It reminded me that when we live in gratitude, we see life’s challenges and victories as opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive.
I’m so grateful for The Retreat, which has become more than an event—it’s a living, breathing embodiment of courage, authenticity, and transformation. It’s been incredible to see how this experience evolves each year, touching lives in ways I couldn’t have imagined when we first started.

To the amazing sponsors who have believed in this vision from the beginning: Thank you for your generosity and trust. Your support has allowed us to deliver an unparalleled experience, one that continues to empower and inspire. We couldn’t do it without you.
To the attendees, you are the heart of this community. Showing up as your true, authentic, and vulnerable selves is what makes The Retreat such a powerful experience. Your courage, your stories, and your willingness to grow inspire me more than you know.
To the incredible speakers, thank you for not only delivering world-class content but for truly connecting with this community. Sharing your wisdom and being vulnerable in your own right has left a mark on all of us, and I am endlessly grateful for your contributions.
I’m also deeply thankful for the continued growth of The Making Of Facebook group. Watching this community blossom into a space of support, growth, and collaboration has been one of the greatest joys of my career. I’m more dedicated than ever to providing practice-changing insights, personal growth strategies, and community-building content for all of you.
And lastly, I want to acknowledge the challenges and growing opportunities I’ve experienced this year as I’ve grown into the role of being a multi-practice owner. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it. Every hurdle has pushed me to become a better leader, business owner, and person, and for that, I am truly grateful.
As we head into the holiday season, I also want to share a recommendation for a book that’s been transformative for me: Dan Martell’s Buy Back Your Time (link). This book is packed with practical strategies for reclaiming your most valuable resource—time—so you can focus on what truly matters.
I’ve already started implementing some of Dan’s tactics, like delegating tasks that don’t align with my highest priorities and carving out more time for personal growth and connection. Looking ahead, I’m excited to apply even more of his principles to streamline my businesses and create more space for what lights me up. I can’t recommend it enough, whether you’re looking for a great holiday read or the perfect gift for someone who’s ready to level up their life and work.
This Thanksgiving, I hope we can all take a moment to reflect on what we’re grateful for—the big wins, the small joys, and even the challenges that help us grow. Thank you for being part of my journey and for allowing me to be part of yours. Together, we’re building something truly extraordinary.
With all my love and gratitude,
Ashley Joves
